Hey,

So over the first month of the summer vacation i've worked at a store as a student. WIth the money, i first had to make the decision of either getting a laptop or a desktop, went with the desktop ofcourse :) here is what i came up with, along with some friends that know a lot about hardware. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cz7YGX   , please, if you see something that bothers you, tell me. ( HDD and some other stuff are not included as i already own those from my current setup) i am looking forward to playing games like GTA5, ARC , Fallout4(bethesda pls gimme dat) I am also looking for a cheaper case, or maybe a cheaper PSU , i am not so sure about the power consumption.

TL;DR , 1st gaming setup, feedback please, if there are cheaper options on PSU or case make suggestions please http://pcpartpicker.com/p/cz7YGX

have a lovely day <33

as far as pcpartpickers cares, your build doesn't exist. you didn't copy the whole URL out, try again

the first link works.

how you'll know that the 390 will be better - the 970 is still more efficient and has much less heat output and power consumption - a reason for me not to swap to 390

That V300 is puke worthy get rid of it

Since you are getting a unlocked cpu might as well get a cooler and a Z97 board

Asus strix coolers are decent but some of them have been a little hotter than the competition

Did you forget the case?

did not talk about heat issues but very high tdp and power consumption (TDP: 275W to 145 w on the 970) -> much more heat has to be transferred out of the case

THANKS YOU ALL , for all the support :D (2nd time posting)

Also, the store wich i'm buying from does not supply the Evga 970, these are the only ones they do supply https://www.tones.be/particulier/producten/grafische-kaarten    (its in dutch tho)   My budget is around a 1000€, getting my loan in 3 days, so not cannot tell how much exactly , but it will defenitly be around 1000€

The 390 does have extra VRAM which is nicer at higher resolutions but it can't run games at 4k anyway so not sure of the point. Plus the 970 comes with support for all of nvidias extras such as hairworks.

I can pick up an msi 390 now for less than what I paid for my 970 over 4 months after release... And it runs better at every res.
