AMD A10-5750M | After upgrading to Win10, boost disabled or gone?

So I used to get 3.2Ghz-3.5GHz with this AMD A10-5750M APU on my ASUS X550DP but after upgrading, well it's gone. I'm sure that boost thingy is gone because my 70% utilization is at 1.9xGHz which isn't the usual.

Driver problems? Anyone else experiencing this?

Did you force upgrade or was it natural.

Which one? The windows or the drivers?

If the windows, I used the media tool from windows' website since upgrading from windows update keeps on throwing Error 80070003 at me.

If the latter, well I just ran windows update and got these updates (which all failed):

  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - AMD Radeon HD 8650G
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - AMD Radeon HD 8670M
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon HD 8650G
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series

I wonder if this would fix it http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2522/amd-catalyst-15-7-1-win-10-64-bit/

Hmm that makes sense, I thought it's just my windows update screwing up with me since lots of people are also getting the error until you gave me that hint. Oh well xD
