If you are going for a Corsair PSU, I'd recommend the cables that Corsair supply. They're really well made and you'll have plenty from what I've heard/read!

I have never made a PC before and Im going for a black and red theme but I want sleeved psu cables, how do I know ill have enough? what is the best type of sleeving? any recommended places to get them from?

For sleeving there are places like Icemodz, Cablemod that can provide pre done sleeved cable for your specific PSU, but if you want to do it yourself you measure out the length of the wire and multiple by the number of conductors, it's good to get an extra 10-20% or so for extra for mistakes and others small cables like fans, LED's etc.

Sleeving material is subject to interference but PET(plastic), and paracord type material are the most common I personally like PET but it's fairly stiff compared to paracord or fabric type sleeving.

i'd recommend to checkout lutro0customs videos first and see if your up to the task since sleeving is a very labor intenstive process and well for the $70-100 for custom sleeving, I've done it before and I got to say make sure you have a lot of spare time.

For places to purchase material itself or have it done by someone, Lutro0customs (Mainframe), Icemodz, or Modguru to name a few.
