I Need Help Getting A New GPU

I Want To Get An EVGA GTX 750 FTW Graphics Card For My Computer, I Have A 1440x900 Display But It's Apparently A 1080p Card. I Mostly Play Source Games, Minecraft, And Other Easy To Run Titles. I Have An ATI HD2900x, And It Was MADE To Play Source Games And It Runs Minecraft With Shaders Very Well. But I Want To Be Ready For More "Graphic Intense Games".

The Shift Button Is Insane In Your Post.

 

If all you're playing is Valve games and Minecraft, a 750 will be fine. Especially at 900p. What's the rest of your system?

What budget do you have? The resolution it was designed for has nothing to do with what resolutions it can actually output to - it will work just fine on a 1440x900 display.

Well, I'm Still Building It. What I Know For Sure Is It Will Have 8gb Ram, 1440x900 Display (Duh), And A 750 FTW (HD2900x For now  :( )

What About Processor? Especially In Games Like Minecraft, The Processor Is More Important Than The GPU.
