make a windows ISO

is there a way to make a windows iso file from my current instillation e.g so all my drivers are installed and windows is activated and if i need to ever reinstall the os i just use that iso

im using windows 10 

My speakers dont even fit on or under my desk...PA's FTW

Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

Download the tool. Run. Create ISO. Profit.

 

Edit: You can also go into settings and create a backup ISO in system recovery.

yeah I don't think it will let you keep the activated copy. You'll have to reactivate it each time. 

 

Otherwise you can just distribute the activated version all over the place and whats the point of that?

 

 

 

As far as cloning the drive I think that's the best bet. I've only done it 2 or 3 times and never had an issue with activating it.
