Module Laptop Company?

I'm looking for a new laptop and would prefer to buy a barebones set and be able to upgrade it myself.  Looking online at places like Sager's website seem to add too much stuff so I was wondering if there was a better website possibly?  On a side question... Is there a great trackpad out there that isn't apple's?

not too many things now. They were big years ago and I think Linus even had one at one point. Just get a good laptop.

So no better off buying a Clevo or Sager or whatever and building it up ya think?
