So I'm thinking of building a pc, this will be my first, and im wondering if there will be any problems with it.

The specifications are:

Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1

EVGA GeForce GTX 980

Intel I7 4790k

Corsair vengeance 2x8gb

Corsair RM series 750w gold

Nzxt h440

3x corsair sp120

noctua nf a14

intel ssd 730 240gb

seagate barracuda 1tb

corsair hydro series h110 gt

My main worries are if the pieces are going to fit and that if the airflow of my case is bad. I dont want to spend more than £100 pounds on my case but i want good airflow within it. other peripherals i might add are leds inside of the case but that is it. Tell me if i am missing pieces, if my choice of case has good airflow if not what cases are good and if my pieces work and fit together. Feel free to reccomend any new pieces i chuld replace of add in. My Budget for the pc is around £1450

H440 not good with air flow no matter what fans you put in it. For air flow you may want like the Noctis 450.

The Corsair SP fans are loud.

Other than that and changes i would make only because of my personal preferences, everything looks good.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

Don't forget to follow your topics to get notifications on replies so people don't have to tag you. :P

You can use a handy website called PCPartPicker to help see if you are missing parts or if parts are incompatible with each other or will not fit in your case etc.

As far as I can tell, your parts will be compatible and it looks like you have a pretty nice setup goin' on there.

The H440 is an extremely nice case, but however is optimized for silence and not airflow. However, don't let this worry you as it will still provide great cooling for your components.

Also, where do you plan on putting each of those fans? The Corsair SP 120s are optimized for static pressure and would go best with you CPU AIO cooler, but then what would you do with that one random noctua? I am curious to know.

The airflow of the h440 is pretty decent. May I ask the reason for the extra sp120's ? If you mount the h110gt on top with the noctuas I don't see where you intend to use the sp120 (I've had a h440 and the fans included aren't as loud as the sp120's and provide good airflow). Also, if gaming is your main focus the I'd get the i5 4690k, a slightly cheaper board and try to aim for a 980ti instead of a 980. Not sure how feasible that would be since I don't know the price differences over there.

England, Budget is around £1450, usage, game and everthing i need to do that requires a pc

if you're not rendering video or using the pc as a serious workstation, i would go with the 4690k and get a corsair h60 or noctua nh-u14s cooler. use the extra savings to buy a better gpu or whatever

don't spend too much on the motherboard

edit:

i really don't like nzxt cases. they are very ugly and some of the build materials on some of the cases is really bad. i would get a fractal design case

please post a pc part picker link to your pc build and i'll critique it further from there

Im planning on replacing all stock fans on the case im using the noctua as a rear fan and the sp as the front fans is that not possible?

It's possible, maybe just not the ideal solution. From experience, the h440's stock fans give more than enough airflow and are quieter than the sp120's. As for the noctua, when that brand and an AIO cooler such as the h110gt  are in the same build, people assume they'll be used together since it will perform better.

i suggest you consider this build for the following reasons:

  1. all you need right now for gaming is a 4690k
  2. the h60 cooler will be sufficient for a serious overclock
  3. the asus z97-a is a very good board, it's all you need
  4. 2400 ddr3 ram. you may need to increase your dram voltage to support this frequency
  5. added one of the fastest ssd's on the market. it's an m.2 samsung @ 256gb
  6. seagate sshd @ 2tb hybrid
  7. gigabyte g1 gaming 980
  8. fractal design case arc xl that will allow you room for a 2nd 980 in the future if you want
  9. a larger psu with 750w in case you want to add another 980 to the mix in sli
  10. added a 1080p 1 ms 144 hertz monitor. you NEED THIS if you are going to build this system. don't game on a shit monitor with this build!

yes, the h110i gt is better than the h60, but its overkill for the i5-4690k

edit: i have an h60 cooling my 4670k and it's perfect. oc to 4.6 ghz on the core and my temps are great at load and at stress testing max
