FPS counter

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

I now use Fraps to see my fps in games, but i've heard that BY using fraps the performance drops, so is there a NON performace dropping fps counter?

There are performance drops when recording with fraps, not when using it to monitor

steam has built in, many games have their own fps counter built in as well.

aside from that, theres also "evolve hq" which is basicly steam without the games, and among other features it has an fps counter.

(personally dont like it tho, its a bit too much overly attached)

There's the Steam one which I find inaccurate at times, if you're using a NVIDIA card, enable ShadowPlay and it will always show the FPS counter.

If you have a nvidia card you can use shadowplay too. Not only can you see your fps count, if you get a good clip you can capture the last 3-10+ mins of gameplay just by hitting a hotkey.

Not just 3-10 minutes, you can actually record as long as you want.
