Best way to upgrade/fresh install to windows 10

From what I have been hearing and with my own experience, the best way to upgrade is by either...

1. Using the upgrade method that Microsoft gave to everyone. As in the windows logo that is in the system tray.post-5026-0-53754900-1438592829_thumb.pn

2. Downloading the media creation tool ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 ) and selecting "upgrade this PC now" then select "keep personal files and apps"post-5026-0-32962500-1438592903.pngpost-5026-0-76627700-1438592911.png

 

For those that want a fresh install you can...

3. first use the media creation tool to put w10 on a usb drive or DVD. Then upgrade your pc using method 1. or 2. and after the PC is upgraded use your usb drive or DVD  to fresh install Windows 10.

4. Use the media creation tool and select "upgrade this PC now" and then select "nothing" to keep nothing and start fresh on your pc.
