I've got my eyes on these babies... thoughts?

 

Also, 250 ohms or 80 ohms? Is it really worth the extra $50?

 

They'd be mostly used for gaming or casual use.

Is there any chance you could try them before purchasing? IMHO, the best way to weigh in on what you want is to try them yourself. If not, both of them are pretty good already.

I'd just get whichever is cheaper. 80 ohm is generally ideal but if you can't get the 250 ohm loud enough, you can just add $20-30 to get an amp

I like how they go into extensive detail about the subjective differences between the different impedance models, despite the fact of statistical variation and lack of corroborating measurements.

Sounds like standard headfi , but it's still a decent source for information ignoring the wild claims.
