My laptop doesn't have a dedicated GPU, and i'd like to get a little bit better performance out of the integrated GPU in my i5 5200U. Intel says they only support 1600 MHz RAM, but would 1866 or faster run? Are there other ways to get more performance out of the iGPU?

What kind of performance are you looking for? and in which games? RAM generally doesn't make a laptop run faster and you could try fiddling around in the Bios with the integrated graphics

Minecraft (although it's very CPU demanding and not optimized), Morrowind, SimRaceway, and a few other games. I suggested RAM because i know AMD's APUs take advantage of higher clocked memory.

you'll want a higher clock rate on your CPU for increased FPS with Minecraft, anything other then that your looking for increase on graphics performance, Intel's CPU's and AMD's CPU's are completely different no need for faster memory

somehow, i don't think the CPU is multiplier unlocked. and i know i'm looking for an increase in graphics performance for those games. That's why i posted.

The iGPU on the i5-5200 WOULD absolutely benefit from faster memory.  The difference is AMD's APU's really get a new set of legs when you give them more memory because they have more horsepower to spare.  Intel's iGPU, on the otherhand, is BUILT around the idea of average components and wouldn't get more than a 5% or so boost from even 2400mhz RAM.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
