1. Budget & Location
My budget is not really limited to an amount but this system will only be used for cs:go as I use my MacBook for studying/web browsing and my PS4 for most of my gaming needs. So I would like this system to be the cheapest it can be but still be able to run cs:go at 200-250 fps on 1024x768 with a 144hz monitor. As this is a quite low resolution I think this will be achievable with a relatively small budget.

I live in the Netherlands.

3. Monitors
I am currently using a basic 1080p 60hz monitor but I would like to upgrade to a 144hz one, I was thinking about getting a Korean monitor as these have a great performance for their price. I will only be using 1 monitor.

4. Peripherals
I already have all my peripherals, CM storm Alcor, Steelseries QCK+, Corsair Vengeance K65.

5. Why are you upgrading?
I am upgrading because the system I am currently using to play cs:go just doesn't have the performance I want, a 8 year old pc with a q9300 and a gt730, was only 20$ so I thought why not. Although this sounds extremely old and slow I was still able to achieve about 100-130 fps which was astonishing to me as this PC was 8 years old and only the gpu was ever upgraded and only for 20$!

-Snip-

I'm just going to say, lay focus on a good processor. Get an i5 and maybe overclock it a little for max performance. Get a 960 or an AMD equivalent IMO, should be way more then enough.

But especially.

You give us location.

Use of system.

Info bout peripherals.

Budget.

Thanks for being considerate for the people that help.

Welcome to the forums!

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.
