any follow up??

So I'm ocing my fx 8350 I changed stuff like the voltage to 1.4v and the cpu ratio to 23 (to get 4.6ghz) when I went to save the settings and restarted it but now it can't boot. What's wrong? It would turn on then turn off in a couple of seconds and nothing shows up on the screen

You need to reset the BIOS in the clear CMOS jumper.

You need to change the position of this jumper for like 5 seconds, and put it back to the other position again, its labeled as CLR_CMOS or CCMOS

Some new mobos also have a button, that is easier to use, you just need to press it.

find your motherboard manual and see if you have a reser cmos button. if you don't have one open your pc and look on the motherboard for something that looks like a watch battery

it should look something like this

asus_975x_cmos_battery.jpg

take out the battery, wait for like 10 seconds then put it back in. your bios should be reset

Don't know if I have to say it but, do this with the pc unplugged from the wall

edit:

here's a guide from asus
