Not enough watts means PC will shut down when under load like stress test or gaming. If it's not turning on at all, it's an issue with something else.

cx psu's are good they're just not ideal for overkill builds. this isn't overkill though so.. idk where you guys get your information about cx being litteral shit

Idk dude I can't tell what goes where. I have one cable at the top plugged in to the mobo and the 24 pin connector. Is that all I need?

Also btw It turned on once when I started. The fans were working, but the cpu fan wasn't spinning nor the other fan I had connected to the mobo.

I wouldn't do it but yes, it will provide enough power. Just don't put it under load for prolonged periods of time with it. It's not meant to handle heat from a 280X

I'm not saying it'll explode in an hour but I'm saying if you're running it under load for prolonged periods of time sooner or later it'll restart itself.
