NOPE, you are putting a CX PSU under load. Bad idea, very bad idea.

Please don't tell me to buy a new one to have room for upgrades. I just want to know if it is enough because my computer won't turn on

Not enough watts means PC will shut down when under load like stress test or gaming. If it's not turning on at all, it's an issue with something else.

it's not terrible to have a cx psu, it's better than a random chinese psu.

Yeah, but I heard (20 thousand times by now).

cx psu's are good they're just not ideal for overkill builds. this isn't overkill though so.. idk where you guys get your information about cx being litteral shit

I wouldn't do it but yes, it will provide enough power. Just don't put it under load for prolonged periods of time with it. It's not meant to handle heat from a 280X :)

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Ok well it is time to get a new psu. Because I game for more than an hour...

I'm not saying it'll explode in an hour but I'm saying if you're running it under load for prolonged periods of time sooner or later it'll restart itself.
