Microphone upgrade question!

So I was wondering if it was worth upgrading my Samson Meteor Mic (USB)? I was looking at the Blue Yeti "Black Out" edition, or the Audio-Technica AT2020. I don't do anything special but sit in calls with my buddy's on Skype but I hate headsets. The Samson mic picks up a lot of my background noise, and its alright quality. Why not go for a dynamic microphone like the Audio Technica 2100 or the Rode Podcaster? I mean, the only drawback I can think of is that you'd have to be close enough to it, but they don't pick up as much (they barely pick up static/white noise or even background noise) and the 2100 is cheap.
