Windows 10 task bar.

The new task bar in Windows 10 won't auto-hide. I have no idea what happened and I can't seem to fix it. I've looked in the task bar properties and the auto-hide box is checked. Please help me fix this.

works fine for me

uncheck hit apply

check it agian and hit apply

Nope, it hides for a second then pops back up.

try bringing it down then leaving

and try using it windows to see if it kicks in

do you have 2 screens or one? if you have 2, only one hides and the other one becomes transparent

I have a single screen.

The task bar disappears once I restart my rig but it pops back up a few minutes later.

Yeah I kept all of my old files when I upgraded from Windows 8.1

That is strange. Hmm, you could try restarting explorer.exe in Task Manager.

back them up and do a clean install now that you did the upgrade
