My friend wants to do an AMD build. Why he choose AMD instead of mixing it up... I do not know why but here is build... http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sRB6f7

He's open for any suggestions... one thing is that he really wants that gpu and will not budge for any GTX... Except titan but he's not ready to drop the $$$ on that lol... And he really like NZXT cases and he really don't care about sound of his build. His budget is $1600 and it will be use for gaming and streaming and a little of editing.

AMD CPU in a budget over $800 is nothing but a waste of money.

Ask your friend why he wants an AMD build with a budget like that and if he says "Oh. AMD has more cores. MOAR CORES= BETTER PERFORMANCE AND LOTS OF JIGGERWATTZ", please tell him that's not the case.

Nvidia hinders performance on last gen cards through drivers in an attempt to force upgrades. They've claimed to have fixed it on Kepler cards in a driver back in April/May, but I can almost guarantee they'll do it with Maxwell when Pascal comes out.

kepler is still more powerfull that the amd cards of the time and buying a new card wont be hindered as its new.

Actually, they are currently quite a bit worse than the AMD counterparts you are referring with Kepler losing anywhere between 10-15% performance.
