hi. im going for a new build which would be my first serious build of my life  :P

previously i just bought i7 860 when it came, Gtx 260 (classy inno3D with 3x artic iChill cooler... dayum that was sexy B) ) then got low on budget so went for INTEL DP55WB  :D  cause i had no idea at all....

anyways, now its time! :D

here is my build i will start getting the hardware for from tomorrow InshaAllah!

i7 4770K

Asus Maximus VI Hero

Corsair H110 WC

Corsair Vengeance 16Gb 1600Mhz RAM

Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 3X Edition X 2 to run in DUAL SLI config

now i have actually two questions:

Q1-  what power supply should i choose depending on my system? i will over clock my cpu, but not the graphic cards. 670s are already quite powerful for me. here are two of the power supplies i can get. i have checked both are compatible with Haswell cpus cause of their low power draw at idle (if not pls correct me)

  • Corsair HX1000 Watt psu
  • Corsair TX750 Watt psu

and the second question:

Q2- I currently have Cooler master CM 690 Advanced II Black Edition. will the Corsair H110 fit in this? and for that matter, will all of the above mentioned hardware fit inside of this case??? or should i upgrade the case as well?

guys im on a very limited and rather restricted budget. so pls advice sincerely!

thanks in advance :)

What's your budget? Your build in general could be better.

Everything should fit, but the H110 seem to be unable to: http://forums.us.ncix.com/forums/topic.php?id=2601891

So you only could go into the used market, eh? Are you buying local or used over the internet? Maybe I could find something else for you, if you have a link.

A 750w would be plenty for your system though.

A TX650 V2 would be enough if you are just running a single card. I would get a TX650 V2 / XFX Core 650W. If you can afford it, get a Seasonic X 650. The H110 does not fit: http://forums.us.ncix.com/forums/topic.php?id=2601891

It's not a good idea to allocate specific budgets for each part since that would usually leave your build unbalanced and you wouldn't get as much performance as you could if you just centered your entire build around a single budget.

A link to where you're shopping would be nice.
