that didnt help

Heyyo,

Hmm... dunno what to say man, the only other thing to try is to get your product key and reinstall Windows 10 from scratch. Maybe the upgrade is corrupt?

https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Use that, save your product key. Without it? Reinstalling will be an issue as you won't have a legit product key and windows 10 will start a 30 day timer until the copy expires.

What I do? Save it as a text file on services like Google Drive or Microsoft's OneDrive.

Then? Use this to download Windows 10 and make a DVD or USB drive as your Windows 10 Installer.

The issue that im having is my 970 is installed and it knows its there and the drivers are installed. Now this is the issue last night i could play games today i cant so ive unistalled the display driver reinstalled it serveral times downgraded the driver. even deleted all nvidia stuff in the registry to try again with no luck can anyone help. i would like to play games again. i know the card is good this is a driver issue but im at a loss right now trying to figure it out.

Heyyo,

Nuke your drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller please.

http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

  • Download the program, extract it and restart in Safe Mode (DDU will ask you to reboot in safe mode, say yes)
  • Run DDU, Select "Clean & Restart"
  • Once back in regular boot? it'll detect and install basic display drivers (DON'T select "Clean Install" under the custom settings, it sometimes has problems with SLI setups). Once that's done? Install the latest NVIDIA drivers for your GPU and then reboot
  • (Optional) Open up DDU (if it asks to reboot into safe mode? you don't need to, so say no) and then click on "Set Automatic Driver Installation to Default"

Heyyo,

You're welcome! :)

I've been using DDU on Windows 10 ever since the first few insider builds and she works great even before official win10 support came to DDU. ;)
