Best free video editing software

I am looking for video editing software on windows and was wondering are there any other good ones other than wmm. I want to have overlays and things like that. Thanks

Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

Lightworks is pretty good but with the free version you can only export 720p

Blender is free, and quite good. Although you'll have to research how to use it as a video editor, since that's not its default purpose.

Gotta second lightworks, but if you're a student you can get adobe cc complete for $20/mo!  You only need your student e-mail and that's it, they don't ask if you're graduated etc, and it's an  easy way to save $25/mo on adobe.

 

Otherwise you can just do $10/mo for Adobe Premiere.
