It will upgrade to whatever you have now, only it will be on windows 10

When I bought the disk and when I look at it says full version but when I see me getting ready to update it says Windows 10 Home but I don't think i have windows 8.1 home but I am not sure

you are going to get home. if it would have said "Windows 8.1 pro" or "Windows 8.1 pro with media center" then you would of got(or would be getting) Windows 10 pro

then its going to be the regular windows 10 home. Not much else to look around for man.
