Will the GPU fit?

Hi everyone,

I have a pre-built pc that i want to upgrade. But will another graphics card fit in the case?

System specs

Micro ATX MSI-MS7728
Intel i5 4460 3,2 Ghz

8 gigs of DDR3 memory dual slot
Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 1,5 VRAM (OEM) reference card

450 Watts PSU

I want to upgrade to a 770 or a 780, i know i probably have to upgrade the psu as well, but i only want to know if one of those cards can fit in my case. The GTX 760 is taking up so much room that there is almost no more room available for the cables. So it cant be any bigger.

Whats really important is the case to see if it would fit.

But you could get the white version of the gtx 970 from MSI which is a fairly small card and I think you wouldn't have to upgrade your psu.

If there's another inch to spare, the 770/780 will fit.

Reference GTX 760 (with the extended cooler/blower design) is 9.5", the 770 and 780 are both 10.5".

I would recommend to upgrade to a GTX 970.

That should give you a nice boost in performance and isn't too expensive.

There are also some really short versions of it, such as the Asus Strix

Or maybe the Zotac GTX 970:

There is ITX versions of R9 380, GTX 970 & 970!

Thanks for the reply's everyone!

This really helped me. But there is still one quistion remaining for me which is something different: if it doesn't fit the case i will buy another one. But then i also have to replace all the other parts. But are the screw holes always on the same place? Considering i have a micro-atx from a manufacturer that says MSI, but i found out its from a american manufacturer that made his motherboars specific for my pre-built system. Also the system is sort of upside down. The graphics card is facing upwards and the cpu is under the gpu.
