Difference between these two 970s?

Go to solution Solved by Aniallation,

Is there any difference between this and this, besides their color? I'm building in a green case where the fans would be visible (it's rotated) so color matching would be nice. I use the 4G (red) personally but if there's no other difference I'd rather go for green. I don't really want to use the "Linus Plasti-Dip" method.

The green one has a backplate, which looks nicer in your rig as you'll mostly be seeing the bottom of the card.

the clockspeeds are identical according to the product page...

There is no difference other than colour and backplate

i read into it tho and if you use msi gaming app the green one can turbo slightly farther

Thanks, though the case actually rotates the mobo so I'll be seeing the green fans instead
