Asus B85 or H81 MB for 4590 or 4460

As for the motherboard, this is personal preference and you should compare the features to decide which one fits you best.

 

The CPUs are practically the same, but since the 4590 has a 3.7Ghz turbo clock speed compared to a 3.4Ghz on the 4460, I would pick the 4590. They are both on the LGA1150 socket so as far as upgrading goes there would be no problems.

Hi! My father wants an Asus MB for my mother's upcoming work PC. Which chipset should we get and which model should we get? Also, he plans to use this PC for 4 years. So, 4590 or 4460?
