Hey guys. So I have my Galaxy S3 plugged into my PC which is on the floor beside me (USB 2.0, can't reach 3.0). Whenever I touch it the slightest it disconnects and reconnects. I have to put it back on the desk, and not touch it, or else it totally spazes out, and spams disconnect, reconnect, over and over and over. It's a fucking pain in the ass, because it doesn't charge properly, and if I'm trying to text while on my PC it just freaks the fuck out. Not to mention it will alt tab games, etc.

Anyone know a fix?

Most likely a defective cord. Pick up a few microUSB cords on the cheap at Monoprice.

Does it matter which cord I get? I got a MicroUSB kit thing from RONA a few days ago, and when I charged my phone with it over night, it would literally lose 2% every minute or so.

Probably not, depends on the length you want. I would go for something like this. I'd suggest buying in bulk since you already have to pay for shipping. Also, I've never heard of this kit before. Where did you get it?

Yeah, looking at getting like 3 of those, and maybe a few things for plug ins for my car.

I got it at RONA for like 9 bucks (regular 30). It was an old discontinued item. It had like a mini USB, Micro USB, wall mount, car 12V mount, and a cable for the old ipods.

I assume you mean this place? I had never heard of it before. I would try the Monoprice cables and if those don't work, bother your carrier/Samsung about it. Could be a defective battery.

Yeah, it's like a Canadian home depot, but better.

I just bought 3 monoprice cables, so we'll see how she goes.
