HELP gpu upgrade

 i currently have 2x gtx 770  2gb but the lack of vram on DX 11 is a problem .i also heard the directx 12 will enable SFR which allows to stack the vram in the case the 3way gtx 770 would be less expencive and preferable . would like to know what kinda upgrade can i do?

 

I planing to get a 1440p(16:9)  or a monitor 2560×1080p (21:9)

2 970s have better value, and will support direct x 12 12_0, giving them more ram than just a gtx 980 ti if direct x 12 delivers on its promise.

Your system is good.  I would save up and wait for Pascal.

lesser cards mean better stability and less power consuption and heat output. 1 980 ti is the way to go

I would go with the beefiest single card you can buy.

Not every games works well with SLI.  Some can actually perform worse than a single card.

Since you plan to go SLI and high res I think AMD cards may be a better choice. (unless you most go green team)

 

Why? Well Crossfire is better than SLI it just is cause AMD did something right...

 

And at higher resolutions the AMD cards do better in benchmarks so that is why!
