My bad I'm trying to keep the budget under $1000.

Pretty good build. You could get cheaper ram that'd give the exact same performance, but'll only save like $3, so I think you're good.

Save $10 and get a B85 motherboard instead.  You don't need the 97 with that CPU/build

The B85 can't run the cpu since it's haswell refresh without a bios update.

I've had no problems, but it's easy to check before purchase and certainly worth the look.  Also if the bios is old then it can be updated, or alternatively just get the H81, the only real difference is front USB3 header.

One more question could this run Planetside 2? I think it can but i have heard of some people saying it didn't work for them.
