Possible Virus

I did a scan with adwcleaner and it picked up a reg key

When I remove and reboot it stays. Anyone have any ideas? i have tried malwarebytes, junkware removal tool, hitman pro, and bitdefender free. My chrome extensions have been crashing a lot as well.

delete it manually.

bad chrome extension?

Just delete it from the registry, it's not a part of Windows so you won't be damaging anything.

If it doesn't bother you however it's best to leave it alone as with any registry item.

I can't find it I don't see anything labeled hkcu.

Edit: I found it.
