What is with the typo's in this screencap? I am very suspicious of this error. What OS are you running?

This is... light blue? Since when are Windows Error messages light blue? I highly suspect this is a virus or some other malicious software. I don't think there is a LBSOD "light blue screen of death".

Do you have a keyboard with a PS/2 plug on it, or a PS/2 adapter for your current one?

Uh-oh...you sure it didn't come with a PS/2 adapter? Because some USB keyboards are a bit asinine during boot.

In that case, have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, both when powered on and when powered off?

Don't read into that too much; it's just an image on http://teamwindows8.com/2012/11/error-code-0xc0000001-in-winodws-8/

Windows 8 and up has no more "F8". Windows boots too fast for "F8" to be possible. You need to fail to boot Windows 3 times in a row to access the menu.

Or if you can access Windows, press and hold Shift key as you select Restart, and keep holder Shift until you see a menu screen. Or, you go under PC Settings > Update & Recovery > Advance restart, and press the "restart" button to access the menu.

Try booting from Windows 8 recovery disk/OS disk/look under the blue menu (which ever you can access), and do a system restore to bring your system back in time where it used to work.
