Get the two 980ti, the titan X preforms the same 99% of the time. Also get a larger 850W power supply to handle the two cards.

You shouldn't get a titan x unless u want bragging rights just get 1-2 980 ti same power or even more power cheaper

Honestly, you might as well get a 295x2. Performs better in gaming. If you want the gpu to be quiet and cool, could try the fury x. Built in water cooler is quiet, and offers a lot of overclock headroom.

Hello @skate048 and welcome to the forum, make sure you follow your own posts.

Before judging your build i'm gonna ask some questions

  1. will the pc be used for gaming, video editing or rendering?
  2. Budget and location?

It is going to be a gaming and probebly soon it will be for editing and rendering. And my budget is ok i am an architect and have alot of chedda if you wanna put it that way.

Only thing i really have to say is that gpu is over kill, especially for a first build. If anything i say a single 980ti would be enough. Other than that it's a good build.

Get two 980 Ti, and get a 850w+ PSU. (power supply)

When looking for power supplies, make sure they are rated at least 80+ Gold. 80+ and 80+ Bronze aren't recommended for your system.

RAM, I say get more than 1866 MHz.

Don't forget to get a HDD for your mass storage.

You could make your build even more fancy with custom sleeved cables.

If you need anything shoot me a PM.
