Get EVO 212 if you are from US or get be quiet! Shadow Rock 2 if you are from EU because EVO cost prety much the same but the Shadow Rock 2 is better.

yes, the stock heatsink offers next to no headroom for overclocking, and what's the point in getting  K CPU without overclocking?

The stock will be fine if you are not overclocking it and don't mind a little bit of noise when you hammer it. But if youre already gonna be 1337 and get a K CPU, get an aftermarket cooler.

i just got my 212 for the 4690k, i can safely say that the difference is like night and day, while the room temp was bit lower than usual, idle was 25ish C

and max high 40's and low 50's on prime95
