Are Dell monitors made by Dell or do they contract it out to someone else (i.e. ASUS, BenQ, etc.) and just slap their Dell logo on them?

I am pretty certain they make their own monitors (not panels), and probably use an LG panel like most others.

I love my U2515H so far. Do recommend.

The Panels on most dells will be made by LG.Displays, or in some cases AUO (AU Optronics) They are the two biggest Panel makers now a days, alongside some other smaller ones like NEC/BOE/CMO/JDI/Innolux. LG aren't the only company that make their own panels though, Sharp and Samsung do too. And Acer merged into AUO, that's what formed them.

But the bezel design/stand/some other things will be made by Dell.

My now aging true color dell panel is and has been great. My experiences with all of their monitors aside from super cheapo scrap bin stuff, has been great.
