Kicking the hell out of my Phenom II Quad at 4ghz using all of it's IPC/Cores

PCSX2 + MSI AB recording at 900p 86% quality 60FPS, can it hold 60FPS at an internally rendered resolution of 1920x2000?

 

Tekken needs it's 60FPS or it becomes an unplayable mess, to show that i mean business, i played on Ultra Hard... where even the smallest mistake has a big backlash.

 

 

There is an encoding bug in the first part of the first fight, it was not in-game it's just MSI AB being weird, it fixes it's self however.

 

Just a small note, you will know straight away if it's not at target FPS... sound is all messed up and the game visually slows down.

That is about 20FPS, PCSX 2 does not ever get choppy, it simply slows down.

So my FX-6300 can run it correctly? What plugins do you use ? Maybe it has to do with that for me...

Your FX can use GSDX AVX which is something Phenoms cannot do as we have shitty old instruction sets LOL.

 

But an FX 6300 on the same plugin (SSE2) would need around 4.4ghz or more to match a Phenom II at 4ghz, there is an IPC decrease with FX vs Phenom II.

Mine does, GPU possibly?

What does the GPU have to do with it ? I thought PCSX2 was more of a CPU hogger. MY GPU is a R9 270 Company OC'ed and more manually OC'ed

aww....mine only goes to 4.2  I currently have it at 4.0 right now

The AVX GSDX plugin with the emu will speed things up further for you.

I think the resolution was just too high. Now its playing some games now. Am going to try Tekken Tag and see if that works perfectly

Yea I never monitored fps but I felt as if it was running at at least 60fps but then again I'm so use to 30fps with this game so idk
