I've never done manual OCing, but I want to get all the performance I can out of my FX-8350. I have an MSI 970 gaming motherboard, and an FX-8350 with a H60 AIO water cooler. I'm currently using the BIOS OC Genie to push it to 4.2, and I idle around 30 degrees. Anyone know a good guide for OCing on this BIOS?

I wouldn't try overclocking with that cpu cooler. Although it is an AIO it is not designed to sustain overclocking, especially on the 8350 which is an extremely power hungry processor. First off I would definetly get a better cooler, like the H100i or H110i. Also I am interested in  how do you monitor your temps? Becuase I can tell your right now, 30C is unrealistic temperature for that processor with that cooler at 4.2GHz.

The temp sensors on most AMD boards are broken and do not show the real temperature. Try using AMD Overdrive utility and check what temperatures are given there, but for the CPU itself, the values given per core are usually wrong as well.

If you really don't want to to upgrade your cooler than my estimate is that somewhere around 4.2-4.3GHz will be your overclocking limit, simply because it will be unable to cope with the temperatures. Keep in mind that the FX chips are not designed to run more than 55C, 60C tops.
