So hi I have a server rack with 3 servers in 2 HP Proliant DL140 G3 servers and 1 HP Proliant DL360 G3 plus a 100Mbps switch and a monitor and keyboard also the chassis is a 20u server rack. How much would you give me for this.

Total cores: 17

Total ram: 40Gb

Total storage: 4.5Tb

Total power usage: 800 watts

Three servers and only 17 cores and 40 gigs of ram? My single server has 16 cores (32 w/hyperthreading) and 64 gigs of ram. I wouldn't pay you anything

The 100Mbps switch monitor and keyboard are not worth anything.

The servers you could sellf for a few 100 bucks in my own selling of servers experience. Check the current ebay prices and sell them for about that depending on the condition of the systems.

The server rack is more interesting though, those go for quite high numbers asuming it is a good rack.

Even if these servers are old, you can sell them quite easily I reckon. I sold a HP DL380G4 and DL360p4 for quite some money a few months ago, and I seem to recall those didn't have any drives. So you should be able to get around 200 dollars at least

Also, I wouldn't advice you to listen to most the the people on this forum regarding servers, very few have actually used any or have experience with them
