My current build is as follows:

AMD FX-6300 3.76GHz

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

MSI 970A-G43

8GB of G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2x2) sticks

Hitachi 2TB HDD

MSI Geforce GTX 660 2GB

EVGA 500W PSU

Samsung SH-118CB/BEBE DVD/CD Drive

I want to get a R9 280 and I was wondering if my current PSU is suitable to run it or if it I should get a new PSU. I am not OCing the GPU and I currently only have the CPU OCed.

I would imagine you have a 500B. It's not terrible (there is better obviously) but should power a 380 or 960 just fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
