Help me decide which model 980ti

At the moment in Australia everyone has sold out of the ASUS GTX 980ti Strix model which is what I want but I can settle for something else like this

Would there be any difference performance wise between these two GPU's?

Also can we expect both of them to have their own waterblocks in the near future?

My G1 is glorious. Haven't tried the others, but I've been pro-Windforce for years.

The Big 980Ti Information Thread

The asus one is pretty but has really bad cooling, hardly any better than the reference blower.

I'm getting Gigabyte because it has pretty colors. I like colors.

But if you're more sophisticated and go for cards by price over performance, screw the price. It's a high-end card. I'd go for the Asus Strix because of its heat extraction pipes fanciness, or the EVGA hybrid because it runs at 50 degrees C at almost max.
