When I try playing any game on my laptop it caps it at 30 fps. I was told this is because of vsync. I went into the Nvidia control panel to turn it off and clicked accept when I changed it. I go into the game and it's still capped at 30fps. I go back into the Nvidia control panel and vsync was back on. I keep trying to turn vsync off but it won't save the change. Anyone know why?

You also have to change it in the game options.

Otherwise it won't work.

Rogue legacy and dark souls 2 are the main ones I've been trying.

There is an option in nvidia settings that drops the frame rate to save power, try plugging it in , putting it on high power mode and see what happens
