RAM runs only at 1200MHz, but is 2400MHz

It's in the name.

 

DDR3 = Double Data Rate Random Access Memory gen.3

That clock speed accounts for one half of the module. It's perfectly normal.

My "Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz 16GB" is only running at 1200MHz i think.

That's normal. DDR stands for Double Data Rate, meaning it is running at twice the rate that is displayed there. One of those weird things.

Yeah double data rate, if it says 1200 it's 2400, if it says 1333 it's 2666

DDR - Double Data Rate.

1200 * 2 = 2400.
