How old must you be to have a PayPal?

I'm in NY if that matters

I think it's 18. I made one when I was 16 though, they'll never catch me!

I assume legally you must be 18, but I don't see what's stopping even a 10 year old making one if they want to lol, I had my debit card and bank account since I was like 13 or something, so you can get a card much younger than 18 and if you have that you may as well have a paypal account

18. If you try to make one when you're younger you could have your account disabled. They ask for your photo ID sometimes.

 

Unless paypal and ebay have unmerged already, dont use paypal if there's any alternative. Ebay (and paypal) has enjoyed making mine and quite a few other people's lifes worse.

Paypal. That's it. Anything else and they'll think you're a scammer. Just make a paypal, nobody cares if you aren't 18. just dont tell anyone
