Okay here it goes,

So Im fairly new to the world of PCs and ive got a bit of a problem, Its started to effect my social life, Not in the way that I dont do anything because Im too busy playing games but in the way that No-one I know IRL uses PCs. I have an average group of friends, were not popular, but not un-popular, we joke that were sorta like the inbetweeners but in the past 2-3 years I have grown away from everyone, Im only 15 and I got my first PC 4 years ago, I had it on the side while I mainly played Xbox because everyone else I knew IRL played Xbox too, We would use Xbox as a time to make plans for what to do on the weekend and I was happy, but as Ive got more into PC gaming I have stopped meeting up with them and I feel really alone, I dont even really enjoy playing Xbox because nearly all the games on there you can get on PCs for a cheeper price and have better graphics/FPS, Should I start playing on xbox more, or try and get them to play on the PC, or should I try to find a new group or friends... Im known as the nerd of the group only because I know about PCs and its really irritating,

 Cheers

I can vouch for the people saying you will lose contact with most of your high school friends. Once you're in college there is an extremely vast world of people that you will almost always be able to find people you "click" with and can find similarities between yourselves. I just recently graduated and will be attending Auburn for Electrical Engineering. That being said, I have already made a new group of friends based around our collective interests with little effort. There's a big world out there my friend. You'll always find people to send time with. Best of luck!

I didn't ask what it was designed to do, I asked what it was capable of doing.

Get them into PC gaming instead. Show them some PC exclusives and get them to play with you, they might end up switching over to the real gaming platform that is the PCMASTERRACE
