New 3DMark Fire Strike world record!

Lays

Today a new world record firestrike score was set by "DANCOP" on HWBOT.

 

He used a 5960x, 4x 980 TI strix and of course, a boat load of Ln2!

He scored 43,873 marks, the cards were running at 1783 core and 2000 on the memory!  (8000 mhz effective)

The 5960x was at 5840.42 mhz!

 

Also, he beat the previous world record held by 8 pack with FOUR Titan X's at 1650/2000 with a 5.8 GHZ 5960x.

Yup. Theres insulation on the motherboard and socket area to prevent condensation. And on the gpus it looks like hes used vaseline to ptevent condensation on the GPU circuitry.

That is Liquid Nitrogen that was put into the air.What your looking at is the stuff that happens when liquid nitrogen makes contact with the air or oxygen

Btw that is ice on the stuff, not some chemical that ln2 turns into when it makes contact with air. ( if thats what you meant)

The parts get below the dew point, and condensation starts to occur, then the ln2 freezes the condensation and overtime you get LOTS of ice.
