Program to take screenshots with?

I kinda meant game screenshots, if you use print screen it will be black.

Pretty sure overwolf has a screencap option.

If it's a Steam game, F12 takes a pic, but I don't know if that's compressed or not.

Probably will, just an overall Steam feature so it should work but personally Ive never tried it on a non-steam game, though I can load into BF4 through Steam and get back with results.

I don't like using Steam for screenshots :3

dunno it may or may not work i'm not sure if the game needs to have steam overlay because i dont think that non steam games added to steam get the overlay feature

Is there a good program that takes uncompressed screenhots other than FRAPS?

best way if you have either Geforce experience or AMD Raptor you just record the tiniest amount of footage (on the software highest video setting) and place that video in some random video editor, then just save that one frame as jpeg. i know it works well on sony vegas, but i think you can do it on movie maker or something.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I've been using pickpick for a year or 2 I like it because it gives you options as to how much of the screen you cap even has a mode you directly select what part of the screen you take a pic of perfect when you want to leave out some vital/sensitive info when screenshotting
