No doing this to specifically advertise, I'm doing it to give people an idea of where to come IF they do need something.

Okay, will find a new font, and I will be adding a portfolio but I don't particularly want to add any of my previous work as it isn't up to my usual standards.

-snip- GAIN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MY WEBSITE.

Now, lets play a game. I call it learning from a Design student, I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

As a "Graphic Designer" you should be well versed in advertisement and what they mean, this ^ is an advert. You are displaying information on a public place with the intent to encourage business or views. I use quotation marks fro Graphic Designer because lets face it, you're not. I mean this in the nicest possible way, you're 15 and have 0 experience in the field either as a student or a freelance/employed designer. To be honest neither do I and I have 3 years of teaching under my belt.

We need to differentiate between a Designer and "Mac Monkeys" as they're called, people who can open Photoshop and make something small but have NO idea of any of the design process. I encourage you to look at courses both online and at schools/colleges (especially in the UK we have some solid GD courses) that will teach you both the basics of the design process and how to advertise yourself and your work.

You're new to this I get that but please don't drag down "Graphic Designer", it is like calling yourself an IT Specialist because you can install windows updates.

/Rant

Colleges: http://www.lincolncollege.ac.uk/courses/btec-national-diploma-graphic-design <-- My cousin recommends this college, she currently works as a website designer.

http://www.banbury-bicester.ac.uk/graphic-design-level-3-extended-diploma <-- I went here and highly recommend the course but its VERY far away from where you are based. I know multiple people doing the HND (Uni level) who love the course and highly recommend that too!

Despite your ignorance towards me, believe it or not, you can interoperate the words "Graphic Designer" in multiple ways.

Ignorance is claiming to be a Graphic Artist and not being able to read your own copy. This isn't ignorance this is being aggravated that you're watering down a term that some of us have actually worked for, I'm sure in 2-3 years you could be at a level where you would be able to set up a legitimate business. But let us not beat around the bush here, you have a site with no images, no CV and no portfolio, who are you trying to attract? Can you meet deadlines? What experience do you have in the application you claim to use?

You can claim I am ignorant but hey what would I know? It isn't like I'm an employed Graphic Artist and Illustrator or anything...oh wait?

You don't have to take courses or get a degree to prove you can be good at something. I have spent years working on skills within Photoshop and C4D from my home. I'm not trying to set up a legitimate business, which is exactly what you don't get, I'm trying to setup a side hobby where I can make a little bit of money to either put towards drumming or my PC. I have put no images up as of yet because I want to put new design work on, and the same to be said with the portfolio. I can definitely meet deadlines and I'm trying to attract everything requiring design work, hence why I didn't single out an audience. I have multiple years of experience within Photoshop and Cinema 4D. And yeah, you may be employed, Is it self employed? I don't know, but you pointed out before about me advertising, which is exactly what you've also included within your "portfolio" on your profile page.
