R9 290x CF vs EVGA GTX 980Ti 6GB Superclocked

Should I upgrade from my Sapphire R9 290x crossfire to EVGA GTX 980Ti 6GB Superclocked? I saw this hardwarecanucks video:-

and got hyped!

The crossfire setup is producing a lot of heat in my room and some time it gets pretty uncomfortable. Bought a vornado 660 but it makes the matter worse as it is a air ciculator and it circulates that warm air all around the room rather then dissipating it, one of the card has fan(not coil) wine issue under load. And also there is this continuous AMD crossfire optimization and driver issues with different game developers

If I upgrade, will I get a performance boost over my current setup? Any existing benchmarks?  I game at 1440p IPS.

Hold on to your 290x CF, you would not gain anything much getting a single 980ti and AMD is still optimizing drivers for 290x has proven in 15.7 drivers,

And since the 390x has the same core as 290x whatever optimization done to 390x, it will carry it to 290x as well.

The Crossfire setup is defentally more powerful.  Although the single card setup will be more graceful.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
