Black screen with "Boot error"

I tried to install lubuntu from USB (i have no problem installing anything else from USB) and for some reason it gives me a black screen that says "Boot error" i press a key on my keybosard and it boots the previous OS!!!! windows xp. can someone please explain to me why it wont work with this specific linux distro? I used unetbootin on my mac to try and install it.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

Is it to do with Legacy USB suport?

 

It could also be a duff install, use an app called pendrivelinux for installing.

ive tried that, it still gives me "Boot error"

I use the same USB port every time i install a new OS, linux or not, in the back panel.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"
