Hi guys,

 

When i turn my computer on, i keep getting a bsod with the error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. It happens while starting up, i get into windows, and it loads everything like Skype and stuff, but doesn't complete loading all programs, and then bsods...

 

Please help, i can't use my computer at all!!! Please i need it to work!

 

Specs: 

i5 4670k

750 ti

z87-hd3

hyper 212 evo

wd blue 1tb (storage and some programs)

Samsung 840 EVO 120gb (windows and most used programs)

sandisk ultra ii 120gb  (mac hackintosh ssd)

ocz corexstream 500w

OK, so i fixed it by system restoring in troubleshoot mode, and it seems to be working alright now...

 

I think its gigabyte's app center and oc things that made it bs...

That would be correct. WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR means that you have unstable OC. So either too high core clock or too low voltage.

the thing is, i was on stock clock... not sure about the voltage, but i think it was normal too..

the thing is, i was on stock clock... not sure about the voltage, but i think it was normal too..

Did you perhaps use Easy Tune? Because that can do it. Just running App Center doesn't do anything. I have it running as background process currently (I use it to check for driver updates).

yes, i was running easy tune.. i tried auto thing, then selected light overclock, then i put it back to stock cos i didnt like the temps.. but anyway... it works now...

Next time, use BIOS. Easy Tune is one of most unrealiable software solutions.

ohh ok... i didnt want to manually do anything, because im too scared to go into the bios and overclock... i dont know how...

There are many video guides. These are the two I can highly recommend:

I know one is for Z77 but Gigabytes UEFI design is same and TTL explains many of important settings.

yh  i gues... but i need a better cooler if i wanna overclock... at 4ghz i get 80c at full load
