Hey all.

I was wondering if a couple of you were willing to help me find and make the best build possible with a budget of 900$

1) Follow topics

2) Location?

3) Currency?

4) Purpose of the build?

That cpu should be fine with 970.

You'd just need a motherboard to fit the socket.

I wouldn't go for a Z97 if you're not going to overclock (it's a non-K version) go witha B85/H81. For all the other parts, it is a very good build!

If he is gonna give it to you for free then sell it for more budget. You would have better performance with an Intel. New games right now are performing better with i5 quad cores than even the AMD 8-core CPUs.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kFVhwP there. It will give you better performance compared to 970 and it has twice through vram. Which if you want to play gta v it will help ALOT. On my 970 I'm using 3.5-3.6 gb on almost maxed 1080p so that 8 will help in higher settings or higher resolutions

Depending on tr game. I've heard of people where their fx 8320 was holding hack their 970. I'd get it and sell it like somebody else suggested. Or buy a mobo and use it for a bit and save up some more money for a better cpu down the line and buy a better gpu now
