Hey guys I have had this idea(which I told Linus about and hopefully he MIGHT respond, doubt it though). What of there were to be some new forum categories added to LTT in the future? Personally I would like a "Game Reviews" category atm. What are your thoughts on this? Which categories would u want?

yeah.. sounds possible.

You should suggest it to windspeed36 in the 'forum suggestions' thread

I want a comic book thread or just a regular geeky area for movies and comics and everything like that.

i5 3570 | MSI GD-65 Gaming | OCZ Vertex 60gb ssd | WD Green 1TB HDD | NZXT Phantom | TP-Link Wifi card | H100 | 5850

Ya that could be a really good idea. Also it will help lower the amount of threads there are about the same game. So instead of posting a new thread every time you can just look up someones review on it and people can just add on to that review.

We could add a lot of forums.

But I feel the beauty of this site is in the simplicity brought about by the low number of forums.

We could have a million forums, like overclock.net, but over time users would become spread so thin and the community would lose its tightly-knit feel.

Anyway, that's just my two cents.  Nothing wrong with adding forums, we just need to be conservative about it.

Some subforums would be nice, though.

Intel Core i7-7700K | EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW | ASUS ROG Strix Z270G Gaming | 32GB G-Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4-3200 | Corsair AX860i

Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3 Samsung 950 Pro 256GB | Samsung 850 Evo 1TB | EKWB Custom Loop | Noctua NF-F12(x4)/NF-A14 LTT Special Edition

Dell S2716DGR | Corsair K95 RGB Platinum (Cherry MX Brown) | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | FiiO E17 DAC/Amp | Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro

Yea I understand. But then again the mods could alwyas just delete the forums if it were to be too many, no?

I can see how sub forums would be awesome and I can understand why some people don't want them. I personally would like a science forum which could go in off topic.

I think reviews for games could already go into member reviews.

And comic books could be bundled with literature and geeky gear.

Just my thoughts.

EDIT: Game reviews could also go into the pc/console/mobile games respective category.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I would love an anime subforum, but I'd concede to just a general geek section.
