Black Ops 2 digital copy?

It says on amazon that black ops 2 pc is only for windows / windows vista. Does that mean I can't use it for windows 8 or mac?

You can use it for w8, but not OSX (I believe there were still two version of black ops 2 -- one for windows and one for OSX).

You can install it on any Windows version. You can play with anyone else using Windows. You can't install it on OSX but you can play with others that are using OSX (I believe).

if its a cd can you still download the dlc maps and does it a count as a steam account or..? I'm not very familiar how that works

The one you linked is a physical copy, there is a download copy but it is $60.

If you are going to get the optical drive anyway then buy the physical copy as it is much cheaper. Though it really doesn't matter that much, if it is not steam intergrated (I imagine it is though) then you can just add it to steam as a non-steam game.
